Lando Norris will be keen to pile more pressure on his Formula One world title rival Max Verstappen by winning the Belgian Grand Prix.

The McLaren driver secured a podium spot at the Hungarian Grand Prix on 21 July, the most recent race in the 2024 Formula One World Championship season.
Norris started on the first grid, but he slipped up and finished second behind his teammate Oscar Piastri - accumulating 18 points from the enthralling race.
Formula One title ambitions
The 2016 Toyota Racing Series champion remains second on the World Drivers' Championship standings having collected 189 points.
Norris is now 76 points behind leader, Verstappen of Red Bull Racing as the two drivers battle it out for this season's championship.
Why Norris could win the 2024 Belgian Grand Prix
The 24-year-old has been consistent having secured a podium spot in four of the last five races including three runners-up spots.
Having won this season's 2024 Miami Grand Prix, Norris will be looking to reduce Verstappen's lead by winning the Belgian Grand Prix.
What did he say?
“A very, very special day. This is the day I dreamed of as a kid, and to be standing on the top step of an F1 podium, with McLaren, is just incredible," Norris said after finishing second at the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix.
"While it may have been a little complicated at the end, I think we got ourselves into a good position at the start and then we were in control from there. I want to thank the entire team for an amazing effort and for giving us such a brilliant car.
"It’s a hell of a lot of fun racing with McLaren, so I can't thank the team enough for giving me the opportunity to be in F1. To now be winning together 18 months in is an unbelievable feeling.”
